Headquartered in Elizabeth, New Jersey, USA, Hayward Pool Products is the largest manufacturer of residential swimming pool equipment in the world. Founded in 1925 by Irving M. Hayward and acquired in 1964 by the current controlling shareholder, Oscar Davis, the 2002 Ellis Island Medal of Honor recipient who has instilled the ethical principles, core values and management practices that remain unchanged to this day; A family business built on trust and respect for its employees, customers and suppliers alike, remembering that simplicity and efficiency are the overriding requirements for a successful and profitable business and that effective communication leads to operational excellence. It has been this foundation that has enabled Hayward to set the standard in innovation for more than 40 years.

Hayward has developed an extensive line of energy efficient residential pool equipment including pumps, filters, heaters, heat pumps, cleaners, electronic control systems, electrolytic salt chlorinators, lighting, safety equipment, and white goods such as skimmers, main drains and other thermoplastic pool construction fittings. Hayward has revolutionised the market with keystone products such as the industry’s first thermoplastic pump, The Super Pump® in 1975, the ProSeries™ filter along with the first thermoplastic VariFlo™ valve, and in 1997, The ‘H’ Series Heater by utilising polymer headers and FileTile™ to achieve excellence in heating design. TriStar®, SwimClear™ and the PoolVac™ technology developed in 1983 also top the list when it comes to the industry's most well-known, highly regarded pool equipment.

With a sales organisation stretching throughout the US, Canada, Mexico, Europe, Asia and Australia, Hayward is able to work closely with its distributor partners and over 3,000 Totally Hayward™ Dealer Partners, to support millions of satisfied pool owners who use Hayward equipment. Hayward also markets its products in parts of Asia, Africa, Latin America, the Middle East through its subsidiary, Hayward Meridian Inc (IMG) via a network of Hayward Advantage distributors. Clevaquip Pty Ltd was the Australian Hayward Advantage distributor who had been partnered with Hayward for more than a decade. In 2011, Hayward acquired a controlling interest in Clevaquip to transform it into Hayward Pool Products (Australia) Pty Ltd, to better serve the expanding interests and needs of the Australian and New Zealand marketplaces.

Hayward Pool Products (Australia) are based in Melbourne with additional branches in Sydney, Brisbane and Perth. Hayward Australia embraces the mantra that running out of stock is detrimental to both our business and that of our customers. Maintaining four branches across the country allow us to hold a significant amount of inventory with the intention of offering exceptional customer and technical service to our emerging Totally Hayward™ Dealer network, whom in turn can ensure their own customer base is nurtured properly to achieve our goal of more Aussie families enjoying backyard vacations.
